I’ve always played the game of long-term entrepreneurship, and I believe that’s the way to go. However, that’s not the case for everyone. Some people would instead take the quick win and move on to something else.

When it comes to SEO, the pursuit of quick profits is often referred to as “Black Hat SEO.” People who practice black hat SEO use underhanded tactics like keyword stuffing and link scraping to rank quickly. In the short term, this may work and bring you a few visitors to your website, but after a while, Google will penalize and even blacklist your website so that you never rank in the top spots again.

Another hand, white hat SEO is the method to build a sustainable online business. When you do SEO this way, you focus on your human audience.

You try to provide them with the best content possible and make it easily accessible by following the search engine rules.

When someone is trying to rank for a particular keyword, they may be duplicating content on their website to try to put that keyword in their text over and over again. Google penalizes websites that do this.

Since Google penalizes sites that do this, I’m only going to talk about white hat SEO.

Nevertheless, there is also such a thing as gray SEO. That is, it’s not as pure and innocent as the whitest of white methods, but it’s also not as egregiously manipulative as black techniques can be. With a gray hat, you are not trying to trick anyone or intentionally manipulate the system. You are, however, trying to gain a distinct advantage.

Google’s standards are not as straightforward as they would have you believe. They often say contradictory things. For example, Google has said that it is not a follower of visitor blogging to build web links.

However, what about guest blogging to grow your brand? What if you are doing it to increase your brand awareness, generate quality traffic to your website and become a household name in the industry?

In the world of search engine optimization, it’s not so much what you do but how you do it. If you buy guest posts on websites that have nothing to do with your niche and spam many links, you will be penalized. If you create unique guest posts that add value to readers on sites appropriate to you, you’ll be great, and the link juice will flow well to your site.

This means that your most crucial search engine optimization task is to create good content.

It’s a bummer. You still need to put a lot of work into it. Search engine optimization is no different than any other skill .great results come from great effort. As the most effective marketing in the world won’t help you sell the wrong product, super advanced SEO is useless if you don’t have quality content.


It used to be the standard to publish content with a set of keywords. If you created quality content that solved a user’s problem, you were a standout, and that made it easy to rank well.

Today, web content is much better, and many online businesses have blogs that they use to enhance their website and rank better on Google.

It’s not easy to create good content, but the good news is that you don’t always have to create your content from scratch. You can rely on what others have created, add more value, and make your content more detailed.

The bottom line is that your web content needs to solve a problem or provide a solution to what brings the reader to your post. If it doesn’t, they will quickly click away from your page and tell Google that your content doesn’t solve the problem.
